Nutty Chocolate Granola
Homemade granola really is delicious.
Whether you have it with milk, in yogurt or on a smoothie; this granola will give you plenty of healthy fats and carbs to give you the energy to sustain a morning at work.
Dry ingredients:
100g of oats
50g of oat flours
30g of almonds
30g of pecans
20g of chia seeds
2 squares or approximately 20g of dark chocolate (I love the dark cailler crémant)
Wet Ingredients:
1tbsp of maple syrup
30g of smooth peanut butter (natural will taste better)
30g of honey
20g of water
Method:
Preheat the oven at 170 degrees Celsius
Chop up the nuts into chunks or little pieces
Combine dry ingredients in a bowl minus the chocolate
In a separate bowl melt the chocolate in the microwave
Mix in the with the chocolate the rest of the wet ingredients
Add in the dry ingredients and mix it thoroughly. ( you will have some clusters)
Get tray out and pour the mixture on it and evenly flatten it out ( I used fry light spray to lightly grease my tray just in case )
Put in the oven and cook for 20-25 minutes
Take it out, let it cool
Enjoy eating it or store it in an airtight container
